After the huge announcements of our first two artists in the past week, Phlexx is delighted to share the news that Co-founder of the label, Trekkah, has agreed a future release. Last week we had the pleasure of announcing ¥¥ and Cherry Hex and the Dream Church to the Phlexx family and they are busy in the studio. Trekkah, DJ/Producer, Vocalist and Instrumentalist, has joined the production line and is working on an extra special material.

Look out for Trekkah spinning his way through the scene as Phlexx's third artist announcement

It has almost been a year since we released Trekkah's mammoth debut album 'The Enlightening'. Featuring 14 Nottingham voices and a fruitful array of instrumentalists, the album was a huge success for the Producer with his material receiving airplay on BBC Radio 1 & BBC Radio 1 XTRA with DJs such as Huw Stephens, Trevor Nelson and Mista Jam and also making TV-sync appearances on shows such as 'Body Fixers', 'Dress to Impress' and 'The One Show'.

Trekkah has performed on stages up and down the country and has been billed on festival line-ups such as No Tomorrow Festival, Boomtown & Soundwave Croatia alongside artists such as London Grammar, Clean Bandit, Gentleman's Dub Club & Sam Smith. As an artist Trekkah is keen on collaborating, seeing him work with some Nottingham based heavyweight artists such as Bud, Yazmin Lacey, Lowrie, Motormouf, Bru-C, Percydread and many more. Trekkah is forever evolving his ideas and we are super stoked to be apart of what he has in the bag for his next release.
